A.C. Geotechnical are able to create and design ‘investigation scopes’ for projects of any size. Typical investigation work includes:
-
Deep boreholes for basement design;
-
Underground storage tanks;
-
Swimming pools and large site cuts;
-
Concrete coring;
-
In situ testing to determine soil parameters (SPT, DCP pocket penetrometer);
-
Exposure of existing footings to determine condition and depth;
-
Dynamic Cone Penetration (DCP) testing;
-
Onsite CBR values and site conditions;
-
Using tight access drill rigs or hand augers/tools to conduct investigations in areas that cannot be accessed with a regular drill rig; and
-
Subgrade assessment for flexible and rigid pavement design.
At A.C. Geotechnical our team of engineers are all accredited building practitioners via the Victorian Builders Authority (VBA) and are members of the National Engineers Register (NER). Our engineers have extensive knowledge of geotechnical conditions (from projects in Melbourne and across Victoria) and their skill levels are highly regarded.
Note: Our drill rigs and geotechnical engineers travel to all areas of Victoria and across Australia conducting geotechnical investigations.
